When did you start drawing, and how did you learn?
I started drawing from those "How to Draw....." books when I was really young. I think I had like five of those ones on drawing dinosaurs. I started drawing anime style art when I was 13, using Photoshop (4.0!) when I was 14, and it kind of went from there.
I learned to draw mostly through observation and practice. My high school didn't offer any art classes until after I graduated, so I didn't take any until college. I learned to use Photoshop by messing around in it, and through various tutorials. Once I knew my way around, and how things worked, I was able to develop my own style of using it. I'm still learning new tricks though!

What do you use for your drawings? Where do you buy materials?
Paper: Strathmore or Canson sketch paper(sketching), Borden & Riley bleedproof ink paper (just lineart), Strathmore smooth bristol (markers/color pencil), and Strathmore Watercolor paper
Pencils: Any .5mm lead pencil
Inks: Dip pens and ink. Speedball India ink if it's just lineart, and Deleter 3 black ink if I'm using any wet media (markers/watercolor)
Traditional media: Prismacolor pencils and markers, Copic markers, Reeves watercolors, and... some cheap Gouache
Digital media: Wacom 6x4 Intuos3 tablet, Corel Painter X, and Adobe Photoshop CS3
I usually order my supplies from DickBlick because it's cheaper, but I get my Deleter 3 ink from Akadot Retail. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I'll go to Michaels and buy sketch paper, because I go through that pretty fast.

Do you do requests/art trades/commissions?
I don't do free requests anymore, nor do I do art trades. Please do not ask me about them. :3
I will do commissions! Please refer to my commissions page for information, and whether or not I'm accepting them at the time.

Can I use your art for a blog layout/avatar/graphic/desktop/wall decoration?
It depends on what it's being used for. If you're using it for personal (computer desktop/wall decoration) nonprofit use, then I'm alright without being asked permission.
If you're wanting to use it in a blog layout, website graphic, or some other public use (printed or otherwise), it's okay with me as long as long as it's nonprofit, and I'm visibly credited. I'd prefer that you ask permission, especially if you aren't sure that you're using it right.
If you want it for commercial use, please ask for my permission first.

What do you use to make your site?
Dreamweaver CS3. I use it mainly to type my CSS, because the suggestions that pop up while I'm typing makes it easier to make sure that I'm not making any typos. I also use it to insert my content, and to make sure my CSS is working right. Plus, using templates really helps make things go by faster.

If you want to do a link exchange, just e-mail me!
